Intelliscore Ensemble is a spectacular application for converting virtually all popular audio file formats to MIDI for easier trascription editing. This software is very intuitive and easy to navigate, while applying sophisticated transformations to the MIDI files that IntelliScore creates, transformations that would be impossible in the initial format of the audio file. With this software you can even record your own tracks directly into MIDI format to be edited, layered over other tracks, and converted back to another compression to be enjoyed using your favorite media player. IntelliScore helps you to convert pre-recorded tracks and analog instruments, create ringtones, determine chords, notes and keys of the pieces converted, and ultimately transcribe into a readable score, virtually any piece you come across. Perhaps my favorite task that IntelliScore allows is the removal of individual sounds, including voice, so the track can be used for Karaoke, or vocal or other instrumental rehearsal. At $129 this may seem a bit pricy but when you consider all that this software can do for you, the price appears a little less daunting. Definately a valuable tool for any mucisian.
