Application Quick MTF is designed for fast assessment and comparison of the major image quality components.
Measures:
- sharpness, including SFR(spatial frequency response) also called MTF(modulation transfer function), edge profile(edge spread function) and LSF(line spread function)
- chromatic aberration (CA), including area chromatic aberration in pixels, CA as percentage of the image height and distance from an image center
- color noise as dispersion of high-frequency noise component in shadows and highlights
Uses the slant-edge measurement technique for discrete sampled systems, described in ISO 12233. Measurements are presented in graphical and numerical form. You can export the measurements in Excel XML format. The software works very fast and precise and does not require any additional exterior components or libraries. Has multiple-document user-friendly interface, very obvious and easy to master.
