Through a series of engaging activities, learn information about each of the 44 U.S. presidents, identify photos by name, arrange the presidents in order, answer quiz questions, and solve a presidential crossword and word search. Includes: biographical information, war and inventions timelines, drag and drop presidential order and name tags, presidential trivia quiz and more!
Biographical information for each president - Click any president on the info screen to view brief biographical information. War Timeline - Click the Show Wars button to overlay a list of wars the U.S. has been involved in, showing who was president during that war. Inventions Timeline - Click the Show Inventions button to overlay a list of inventions, showing who was president when each item was invented. Name Tags - Learn the identity of each president by dragging the displayed name tag and dropping it onto the corresponding presidential photo. List Order - An alphabetical list is displayed on the left, click the president's names in the order of their terms. Photo Order - As each photo is displayed, drag the photo and drop it on the corresponding presidential number. Presidential Trivia Quiz - Answer questions about interesting presidential facts, such as "Which two presidents died on July 4, 1826?". Presidents on Money Quiz - What president is portrayed on the $500 bill? Did you even know there was a $500 bill? Presidential Firsts Quiz - Questions related to firsts by presidents, such as "Who was the first president to have electric lights in the White House?" Who Am I? Quiz - Information is given about events or accomplishments during a president's administration and you must identify who the president was. Presidential Nicknames Crossword - A crossword puzzle where you fill in the president's last name based on the given nickname.
